nowhere

nowhere

A Poem by highonwords

to my right mind, memory clings,
where my heart has gone with you
there is a shaft of crimson light,
it colors the emptiness on my left,
now a vivid blue of your face,
with all the broken pieces,
wounding me with purple wisdom,
i ache with every feat of longing,
cold from thoughts of love, too short,
to reach me beyond nowhere with you

I really feel that you have found your new true voice with these pieces -- blending your old, stark style with this new metaphorical edge that is not so convoluted you can't follow the trail. Great job.
