unloving you

unloving you

A Poem by highonwords

when all the words i mean,
can't be put into words i could say
nothing remains as deep as the beat,
surfacing to a feeling, a thought
becoming you, everything else
has gone, you remain in the nothing
i've become, i wait for something
less tragic, less real than this deep
longing to become someone else,
who doesn't know you, you could love,
but could not fall desperately over
into the depths of who you are

Great commitment to the idea of being filled with his nothingness.

Steph, there is something that pulls at me every time I read one of you poems but do not know how to form a comment... sometimes your poems, like this one, leaves me tongue tied...

for me the poem centers around these words/lines: everything else
has gone, you remain in the nothing
i've become, i wait for something
less tragic ...
