where is my sea?A Poem by highonwordsWith me, do not carry yourself with so much reserve, you forget the sun alights on you in so many ways, you have forgotten you, too, are beautiful, It ascends every morning for everyone, you, in my mind, especially I would not only hold your hand, in moments, you feel the world is intruding upon the perfect space you occupy, I would do so much more, for I sense the wilderness around the perimeters of your hiding places, I would leave the perfect space I hold dearly, so that wherever you are, you will find me there waiting for you And if you want, I could be with you, without you seeing me, For I hold the promise of not entirely knowing who you are, better than knowing you would withhold promises, as if they never saw your heart, nor left your lips, never were heard in the prismatic corners of the universe And would never loan their pure simplicity in your eyes, looking in mine, searching with me that relatively perfect space © 2015 highonwords |
