Voice of Direction

Voice of Direction

A Poem by Nick Lynott
"

poem about growing up

"
Metal voices

All I can hear are metal voices
Thin tin scratching against old silver
Heavy steel and iron booming from the background
Gold dancing with its melody

Be yourself
But do it this way
I am tin and I know the way
Steel taught it to me
Family
We are family?
Are we family!

Can you hear the chorus
It means the song is happy
Or is it just the mocking
Tones of metal
That pump
Into my thoughts
Separation
I must find separation
Must I find separation
