Dear You...Love, Me

Dear You...Love, Me

A Story by Chris Barker

Dear You,

I've been sitting here for a while thinking. What should I write to you? Should I write for you? If so what is this letter about? To win you back? To pour my heart to you? To tell you all the pain you've caused me? To say how I currently feel? I've already explained almost everything, what else is there to say? Well there is a whole lot to say. There's a bunch that words can't even utter. As miserable as I lay here without you, I'm fine. I sit and lie in bed thinking of you. Instead of thinking about you and crying, I think about you and smile. You might be wondering why I'm smiling knowing how much I want, but can't have you. It's because every moment I spent with you, I cherished. From the way you made me feel loved right down to the way I held you close to me. I was so lucky to be in the presence of someone so amazing as you. It really was an honor. You taught me how to love, that I just have to be myself and eventually someone will come and find you, but most importantly you showed me what it's like to feel like...a person. Even though you're not here for me now it make me want to be there for you all the more when you need me. I don't know how to end this letter and I don't want it to end, but I need to continue on with my life even if, painfully, you're not in it. You were everything I could have asked for and I thank you for everything you've done for me. I tried my best to be the best for you and I think I did a pretty damn good job! You're in my heart forever and always.

Love,
Me ♥

This made me laugh in a sentimental way(:
It made me think of your average relationship, except imagined to be more than just average, wanted to be more than average.
It's amazing how slow time goes by.
