Train RomanceA Poem by rayvenThis is about a guy I met on a train that really turned my life around.
You say I'm right up there with the air,
Tell me that's how much you need me, But I don't even have a lock of your hair, Or anything here to make me believe. I don't think I can even call you a memory, Instead, I'll title it another night's dream, Because I can't imagine just you and me, More than unrealistic is how that seems. Day by day you try to refresh my brain, Try to convince me you've kissed my lips, But trusting you leaves things the same, Why put yourself on a sinking ship? This is where the story gets complicated, Maybe I want to drown if it's with you, Silly, but the thoughts been contemplated, Forget our "old", let's just make "new."
