Initiating Application, Contorting Previous Perceptions

Initiating Application, Contorting Previous Perceptions

A Poem by Whitney Mitchell

Currently viewing scenery which previously promoted thoughts on “failure to interact”, now instills sensations relating to divine pleasure in intricacies of life

(existence is finally existing)

existence finally pertains to anything other than devastation

sounds interpreted with less than imperfect accuracy

(allusions to alleviation are no longer of such negative connotation)

trying to terminate such cowed faces in attempts to disclose my inability to connect

more an unwillingness to coincide with anything out of association with my own thoughts

willing, currently to converse and collaborate with distinct parts of personalities in the present

( no longer shielded by faux innocuity, immobilized mouth, eyes low as to avoid anyone’s attempts at admiration, including my own.)

Attaining affection

Allowing it,

Adamantly asking another’s admission

Knowing it is necessary,

Knowing existence is truly “coexistence”

( as elements are meant to blend in perfect time)

knowing water in the absence of oxygen assumes the title of “Stagnant” production promises persistence now

(as previously indifference outmoded such a process)

engaging in enticing endeavors of enjoyment

excusing reluctance to allow myself such delicacies

finding comfort in companionship

no longer finding solace only in my solitude

(decoding its derivation denotes the delusion of my desired demise)

How I loathe writing biographies... The ego necessary in any attempt to entertain someone with my meager and deteriorating existence outshines even the most self-righteous of men. I suppose if one wer.. more..
