Sunny hard times

Sunny hard times

A Poem by Thomas Acres
"

A song by Whither is god

"
the only grave consequence that I have left to confront is a product of my own poor etiquette
I was dominated by my own callow lust. I am peaceful yet afraid but enlightened enough say it I've swallowed hard booze for so long that I've starting sipping champagne with the cork screw attached to teeth hanging taught right from my lips... so what if I wished and wished myself penniless?

My heart is like a vicious stampede, elevating my soul to the sun when I see them; But only because I had chosen to run does it seem….

It seems,welts, too,fade…
And gods, too, decompose well, why did they send us all here? The answer is simple ,for us as it were,we were
forged as iron through the relentless lashings of a Coward’s merciless rage
I was predetermined to fail all of you...

Is what he whispers to a prophet below, and tells him the unforetold previously never before spoken, and newly conceived expiration date of the sun,in which the prophet realizes is much harder to translate to all of his colleagues in layman's terms so they'd all begun to speak in the limerick that was once spoken unto to the prophet by the imaginary vessel but yes merely a clever hallucination at best

But,now...

the only singing lessons that I had in mind were whiskey, cigarettes, and these sunny hard times

There's not a single soul yet whom I'd lose to a bet if wagered the truth and just said

how I've already loved so deeply and tender enough to have calloused my heart for the decades to come

At 22 years young I tried my best to learn to be less frivolous with my cash but instead I treated it just like all of my loved ones this song is for the loved ones that we traded off for some meaningless ,frivolous pleasures.

Temporary yet satisfying. ..

It seems,that welts, too,fade…
And gods, too, decompose well why did they send us all here? The answer is simple ,for us ,we were
forged as iron through the relentless lashings of a Coward’s merciless rage

I was predetermined to fail just for all of you
Is what he whispers to those that only demand honest to god truth.

The End
