Hurting.

Hurting.

A Poem by karina y

I know you say that you don't care,
and you think that you don't show it
But I say this for your own good
please don't lie cause we both know it.
You can't hide your true emotions.
I don't mind that you still love her,
I can tell that you're still hurting.
And I've offered you my shoulder
still you just keep getting colder.
See, I loved you and I've lost you.
See, you loved her now she's gone too.
Now it all comes back to haunt you.
And it sucks to see you cry,
cause it makes me change inside.
Still, I've loved you for some time now.
And theres no where else to hide now.
And I'll be here till the end.
But this time just don't pretend.

The raw emotion and pain of youth screams here...but you see growth, and that gives it a prefect subtle twist that separates it from others.
Passion is still passion, in dark or light.

Thanks for the share

The endearment in the lines...in this write...you can feel the hurt all the way down to the last sentence...the two lines some up the verse:

You can't hide your true emotions.
But this time just don't pretend.
