I love her to death. She is everything to me.

I only just met you, a few weeks in the past

Not very long in the eyes of those who view

They say I'm too young, we're going too fast

But I'm already sure that  I know I love you

When I am by your side, life is like a dream

Seemingly eternal happiness, and then we're apart

The judgmental outsiders see this attachment as extreme

But I know for sure you are holding onto my heart

Kaylee, you are special, you make me whole

You are the only thought that ever crosses my mind

I give you everything, including half of my soul

For you, I am willing to leave the world behind

Again we are tested by others' prying eyes

They say that we don't know how real love is defined

Rushing into a commitment, they say is so unwise

Their words don't matter, I see them as unkind

Kaylee, I love you, I never want this perfection to end

You are so important to me, you are my muse

You mean the world to me, you are more than my best friend

Every second without you is total abuse

The jealous bystanders think all we have is obsession

All I know is I want you forever with me

"I love you" is the only fitting expression

I promise you eternity is ours, Kaylee...

I don't think this is cheesy at all. I see it as being heartfelt and that's really important with poetry as the brevity of the style means it's easy to pick up if the poet doesn't believe in what's being written. This a a genuine piece and I liked it!

I didn't see that much wrong with the flow! This poem was easy and a joy to read; you have poetry writing talent, in my book. So far as Kaylee, we all had one or two, in our youth; some from high school are still married and have a million children and grandchildren. I know the feeling of people telling you that young love is not real love, too; however, young love is perfect love, because you have not learned the society rules, yet, that tell you that you must do this or that. Young love is free love and the love that you will never live to forget; enjoy every minute of it.

Aww! This is so sweet! And yeah, it's cheesy haha. But it's really good actually. I don't think it sucks whatsoever. I kinda like how you rhymed it too. :)
