KayleeA Poem by Nathan DurhamI love her to death. She is everything to me.
I only just met you, a few weeks in the past
Not very long in the eyes of those who view They say I'm too young, we're going too fast But I'm already sure that I know I love you When I am by your side, life is like a dream Seemingly eternal happiness, and then we're apart The judgmental outsiders see this attachment as extreme But I know for sure you are holding onto my heart Kaylee, you are special, you make me whole You are the only thought that ever crosses my mind I give you everything, including half of my soul For you, I am willing to leave the world behind Again we are tested by others' prying eyes They say that we don't know how real love is defined Rushing into a commitment, they say is so unwise Their words don't matter, I see them as unkind Kaylee, I love you, I never want this perfection to end You are so important to me, you are my muse You mean the world to me, you are more than my best friend Every second without you is total abuse The jealous bystanders think all we have is obsession All I know is I want you forever with me "I love you" is the only fitting expression I promise you eternity is ours, Kaylee...
