I'm the one who stares at you

           when you're alone at night...

I'm the one who scares you 

           when you're walking down the road...

I'm the one who makes you 

           cry and bleed...

I'm the one who stalks you 

           just for greed...

  

I'm the one who makes you 

           freak out, makes you sick...

I'm the one who makes you panic...

           makes you breathe faster and faster...

   

       ...you will never know until 

                      you face the mirror...

                             ...and know,

           

                                     ...I'm your Nightmare.

I enjoy the subtle darkness through out the poem breathing life into the symbolism, I love dark poetry and the simpler generally the better product, very well done
