Midnight MusingsA Poem by whiteNightIt's one in the morning. My mind tends to wander.
Rolling green hills
A sleepy breeze The quiet rustling Of the drowsy trees A setting sun Seems so distant Just like sweet memories- As I become reminiscent Twilight falls gently As I lay in the grass I sigh quietly to myself These thoughts won't pass I'm was lost in myself Bitter memories inside I was running from the past With nowhere to hide Sweet darkness cloaked all As shady Night is here And the opalescent moon Illuminates all I hold dear I admire the luminous stars As they light up the night sky And softly warm my soul Creates a feeling I can't deny An awakening inside As I saw the beauty above So delicate, so fragile As pure as a dove I sat up in the meadow and drew a breath As I listening to the symphony of Night I could dream again, believe again -I found my lost hope I found everything had finally been set right. © 2013 whiteNightReviews

I've lived around the world, and I wanted a place to share my writing. I'm a sucker for beat poems, and I would be lost without sports and literature in my life. .. more..Writing
