a wasted game

a wasted game

A Poem by whatrachelwrites
"

A game I no longer want to play

"
Jealousy is a bitter game, one I'd prefer to no longer play. Enticing as it may seem to compare yourself to perfect strangers or indeed your closest friends, it will only end in self doubt and misery. In this vicious game, nobody ever wins. Let's play something else.

Great pearls of wisdom here. I can think of may other games to play. Well said.

I definitely can relate...I never thought I was good enough for my significant others...and, therefore, was often overcome with Jealousy, perhaps during situations where I needn't be.
I wish I could have played something else.

Indeed, it's no wonder jealousy is called the green eyed monster. It has a deep connection with envy.
