A Hero without a Name

A Hero without a Name

A Poem by MoonShine

He is a hero without a name

He works day and night to help those in vain

He picks up the trash left behind by a stranger

He helps the lost boy find his mother

He escorts the old man across the street

And helps the old lady with her groceries

He has no superpowers like superman

And yet he is a hero, a normal man

Heroes aren’t the people who struggle for glory or honor

Heroes are the people who struggle with one matter after another

He makes a difference no matter how small

He does his share, unlike others who do none at all

He is a hero without a name

But a true hero all the same

Beautiful work! And so true. These people often go unnoticed in favor of those who do "bigger things". Nice tribute to those trying to do the right thing on a daily basis. Wonderful structure and word choice.
