Wisdom

Wisdom

A Poem by MoonShine

She is a social pariah

Her existence is denied and her intentions are ignored.

Her voice is rarely heard, but speaks volume.

Arrogance scowl her existence,

While the ignorant refuse to listen.

But rather then dispute, she remains patient.

Merely wishing that someone would stop and listen.

I love ths piece. The last line is my favorite about it though. "Merely wishing that someone would stop and listen." That line just puts the whole piece together. Good job.

I like how you worded this one too.

My grandfather had wise words. Listen to other. Better to be a listener then always control the conversation. Think before you speak. I like this poem. We can learn so much from the quiet woman waiting to speak. A excellent poem.
