That Romantic Guy

That Romantic Guy

A Poem by Willy Hericson
"

I really did ask my friends(girl) what they think a romantic guys is, and I combine all of their opinions in several verse in this poem.

"
Every girls dream of romantic guys.
Guys who fly girls to the sky.
I want to be one of those.
So I begin to browse.

I did the research.
I listened to girls' lecture.
And then I grinned.
"Mission : Impossible" it seemed.

I couldn't sing " I won't give up"
when we're going to break up.
So the most you can expect from me,
is to sing "Do Re Mi".

I give you no rose for your B'day.
"Roses wither" I say
while I just can't remember when is your day.
In return, I will kiss you everyday, is that okay?

I am not a mysterious type
that can make you high.
I am just an eyesore
who have a bad posture.

I won't stop my games
when you need to share your blames.
Only if you tease me with "Please?",
Will I start to take notice.

No sweet little things.
No surprising big zings.
Just my stupid jokes.
And my mundane talks.

I am really not romantic.
Obviously not charismatic.
I am urgently enigmatic.
Plus quite egoistic.

I was born without you.
Fear not, I won't die if you go.
But you should know
You are beautiful from head to toe.

And it will be my pleasure.
If you want to be my treasure.
I will give you things you can't buy
But I will never be that romantic guy.
