Words as Weapons

Words as Weapons

A Poem by Joy C
"

I really tried to use more difficult words..., but failed. I have to work on expanding my vocabulary~~!!!

"

Pen bleeding
Forming into words
Words so sharp
Dripping with hatred
Summoned by
Feeling of betrayal
Outraged

Murderous thoughts surfaced
A better place
The world will be
Without them
And me

Killing them in my mind
Words dip in and out of their chests
Slicing, slaying
Blood, black as ink
Spouting
Staining the floor
On My hands
Dipping

I see nothing

Sanity is so fragile
A thin line separating sane and insane
Once crossed
Never the same

Cold- eyed murderer and gaping victims
Silently screaming
I am them
Both
Pen bleeding
Forming into words

Powerful piece! Although, I feel as though time can change us, if given half a chance.
