Immigration

A Poem by Joy C
"

just a piece of my mind~^^

"

Surrounding by an unfamiliar world
No escapes.
Nervousness roots deep inside my mind
The fear of being humiliated
In this country of different language, culture
Even the sky is suffocating
The worst, is the regret
Lurks in the darkest corner
Waiting,
When loneliness descends upon
STRIKES

I can feel how scared you were in moving, but as my friend always quotes to me, when one door closes another one opens. This really is so true...
Glad you enjoy reading and writing, they have to be the best thing ever dont they. Let me know if there is anything you really want me to read.

Being in an unfamiliar place can be so scary! You wrote about it all so very well here. The emotions set the stage and we can imagine how horrible it is, especially the sky!
In time, new beginnings form new friendships and smiles. I wish this for you.
