Alone but Not LonelyA Poem by Austinsmom"Wisdom doesn't necessarily come with age. Sometimes age just shows up all by itself." ~Tom Wilson
Alone but not lonely A table for one A tab paid by me I went out just for fun
Alone but not lonely Banks and grocery stores Journey’s made on my own Not traveled alone before
Alone but not lonely Time spent deep in thought What I can make of my life The feelings it brought
Alone but not lonely Not in need of a man In need of friends only While figuring my life’s plan
Alone but not lonely There is no empty space to fill No void in my life Only dreams to fulfill
Alone but not lonely With myself I’m content Not yearning for companionship Time with myself is well spent
Alone but not lonely The peace in the silence Gives me time for my thoughts To my life it brings balance
