UndeadA Poem by WendyThis is a poem i threw together in a couple of hours for my English class. We could write about anything we wanted to.The only exceptions were that there had to be 16 lines and each line had to have 10 syllables. The format was abab, cdcd, efef, ghgh.UNDEADYou'll know when they come 'cause fears in my eyes Undead come out to feed on ones alive I watch the sun fade away from the sky There's not many left except for us five
It's said that garlic stops them from coming Garlics not working it's truly a lie And when they come it's easy to succumb To the fear that's inside, you might just die
To become one of them is a cursed life So dont let them drink the blood from your neck Because in your life there will be much strife You will be a dead (not living) wreck
Better watch out 'cause they surely will bite The only thing that kills them is the sun You'll be safe if you don't come out at night When the undead come you had better run
