Every now and then , people keeps talking about getting rich, having this and that , i use to wonder is money truly everything to man

Is money everything to human ?
Even when they are on sick bed
All they think of is their bank account
What happens to the money after their demise ?

Do we really have to kill for the love of money
Fathers against Sons
Children against Parent
Brothers against sisters

Ready to murder each other for money sake
What happens to true love ?
When all what people care for
is money

Corruption in every nation
Bribery and Nepotism
All for money sake
I wish i could say more

I just wish to know is money everything to human ?

Interesting & compelling line of questioning. I think your poem shows us your view on this question, which I agree with. I think the word "money" is used a little too often. It would be nice to mix it up a little, using "greed" or "possessions" . . . becuz these are the real culprits, the main motivations for people to act in selfish ways. Money, in and of itself, is nothing but a symbol. I'd like to see a little more about the specifics of how people worship material things over the feelings of other people, for example. But this is just my preference. You using "money" may be enuf for other people to visualize all the other stuff that goes along with wanting money.
