Broken Love

Our Hero finally is able to walk but while wandering the halls he comes across something that will require more than physical strength to solve

I awoke To Find The Cool Darkness Of Night And the glow of the fireplace burning, casting gloomy shadows upon the rather large room, i noticed that Most of the pains where gone and all i wanted to do was walk around. i stood up slowly walked out the bug wooden door and into the hallway, I noticed  Door Near The Other Side Had A Light Maybe I could Get Some Answers. i hobbled Down The Hall Into The Door Just In Time To See The Nurse From Earlier Standing On A Stool, Looked Up to see The Rope Tied Around Her Neck And Watched As She Jumped Off Of The Stool. Suddenly I Wassnt In pain any longer and i bolted towards the hair scissors on the table, i quickly jumped off of her bed and grabbed the rope and with the scissors cut her down. afterwards i checked her pulse she was alive, she opened her eyes and gasped, in a very suffocated breath she uttered "why did you save me?", i replied "because I Don't Wish To See Anybody Die no matter what. she stared to cry on my shoulder and afterwards i sat her down on her bed, "why did you try and hang yourself?" i asked, "because you see earlier today i found out my mother passed away" she said in a whispered tone still crying, "i don't see how that any reason for killing yourself" i said with a concerned tone, "we'll you see im the City Leaders illegitimate daughter, and my whole life i was told that i was dirty blood, and should never have been born" she said quietly. "my god that's awful" i replied, "i know, and the only one who has ever shown me compassion or love was my mother. everyone else has always looked down on me like i was a mistake, like the entire world wished i was gone, and soon enough so did i so i tried to hang myself" she said and began to cry again. than i a small silver ring off of my hand and put it on her middle finger and said "do you see this ring, so long as you where it you can never be alone, you say you have no friends, well as long as you live i am your friend ok?" she smiled and said in a very shaky tone "ok". "now if you wish i will not let the manager know about this, it'll be our little secret" i said as i tossed the rope into the fire, "if you need anything you know where to find me" i said in a cheerful tone, i winked and walked back to my room . i lay back down and once again darkness surrounds me

Your hero does a lot of sleeping but that's an interesting transcendence into another chapter. This is an interestingly dark chapter but it sets up the nurse character well, background is important and I look forward to reading the rest of your chapters. Good job man! :3
