beat skipper

beat skipper

A Poem by Wem Ortiz
"

4 years 6 months and 7 days left

"

The night succumbs my sensitive ears
street noises, crowded people
the cricket’s sound
the moon beam, creating shadow of all sorts
oh love, see how nature dances for you
the cold breeze that freezes our flesh
the clashing of leaves that sounds like our pillows in bed

and the silence…

how I wish you were here
so I would embrace you tightly,
and we will not only listen to nature’s amazing night
but also to our breathing

I miss listening to your heart
and how it skips  a beat.
