Would you care if I ask you out for a date?

After all we’ve been together for years now.

Would you like me to fetch you?

or probably not, cause your parents might get mad.

what should I wear?  Coat and tie or shirts and ragged jeans

just tell me, cause any of it would suit me            

is there any chance, we can get out tonight?

or you simply can’t? well I would wait for a day , weeks

even months or yes years to come.

you don’t have to worry, you know I’m patient.

Can I knock on your door. Hold you close

 

stare in your eyes and speak words 

that would calm your shaking nerves

can’ I whisper my love, or should I shout 

So the world would know my true intentions

and I don’t want commissions from your Mom and Dad

not even solicitations from friends just to get us out of this map.

I work hard. 

so hard that even a penny of it is enough to make you feel glad.

but will you still go out with me.

if I can’t drive you out of that gate.

an over occupied public utility jeep?

as we run towards the shelter as rain falls

because of this funny weather

and I’ll embrace you when the atmosphere becomes colder

and then again I would stare in your eyes,

forwardly say my deepest intentions

no one can harm you when you are with me,

I just simply dream that you would go out with me.

even if they don’t want us to become what we wanted to be.

even if time will hinder us to be in love.

or even if I am banish to the doors of your house

nor pretend that  we cannot feel each other’s feelings

or become heartless towards our emotions
