Colors

Colors

A Poem by Wem Ortiz
"

4 years 6 months and 26 days

"
colors blends in a shades of spectrum.
we took a little of it and placed it, in our lives,
how sweet could it get, we have known it all
but colors has its consequences, its time...
colors dries out, colors change, colors fade
and colors adds or subtracts,
worst that colors can adapt
but time has its consequences to its change.
time might repeat its hands  pointing at twelve
but it wouldn't be the same change is important,
should we adapt or  not,
change is scary, painful and unwell,
but what change only has, was chance
chance to leave. chance to stay, a chance to choose,
we are holding into the game of chances
but chances are well played by aces, jokers and pawns.
we are devoted but too little
we love each other but they won't allow us.
but that's not the reason. we are simply scared.

I just don't have the perfect qualifications to use for this poem.... but i'd say it's very nice and the words went well with you.

Wow. Fantastic poem with a good form to go along side a wonderful mix of emotion and wonder.
