Alpha and Omega

Alpha and Omega

A Poem by Wem Ortiz
"

it goes in and back.

"

We are unknown to one self.
you are there, and me in here
just simplified concept of anonymity
two people strangled and bound to each other
but walks separately
two people with the hopes of finding their souls
a key to a lock, a flower to its petals, a better half
and when the stars becomes aligned to each other
the magic begins, the soul finds its way to the other
just like two springs intersecting on its rivers.
and the flow goes to a certain direction following
the wavy slopes till both of you reach the oceans.
it will be scary, temptations persist, it will kill both of you
and and both of you are killed, temptations has persisted, how scary it will be.
the oceans you reach are heavy slopes of waves
no longer following a direction but a certain flow, there is no rivers
it won’t intersect, there is no spring, and no other way
to find your souls knowing there is no longer magic,
each other is no longer aligned nor stars become distant
there is no magic to begin with,
half is better, and petals are falling out of its flower
the lock lost its key, the souls are with no hopes of finding its body
separately we walk,we are bound to anywhere.
anonymity begins as a simplified concept
me in here, you are there
to one self, we are unknown.
