I don't like hip-hop today and how it is now

SPOKEN WORDS. DEF POETRY

"
I don’t like, hip-hop today and how it is now
hip-hop, yes that pretty ireful soul, it takes your esteem boosting up like you are losing control,
and hip-hop, from that moment when you recorded your first song,
you became proud of it, even if it's all damn wrong,
hip-hop that music you hear daily, the beats that keeps on repeating like a loop hole
from a poet to a musician, to an artist , your verse falls
but again that was back in the day, when you just started to rhyme
me? I don’t like hip-hop today and how it is now.

And so hip-hop, encourages you to play, words and schemes,
an evidence of how skilful you are and how you started to dream
but that s**t pains me when you came to feel you don’t need it
reality check, if you ain’t money makin you ain’t gonna have s**t.
that’s why I remained underground and I remained tough,
for hip-hop won’t feed me that much,
but I Just love that b***h so much that I can’t give her up
instead of an emcee, I considered myself an escape artist
hip-hop became an exit point, a way out for my weaknesses
But damn it, I don’t like hip-hop today and how it is now

I can’t blame those boys who gets cash from it,
chooses fame to be blind for it.
Those boys needs to feed their younglings
family, their wants and their needs
but if a producer pushes time
then they don’t have time to do the right skit,
they have to get the masses in to a groove
with that, ill consider to understand s**t
so wow, great work, job well done, bow down!
but man, I still don’t like hip-hop today and how it is now

Its full of hate, sour bitter and sweet words on streets
no bridges that connects them to elevate
then they ask you to teach those kids? It sounds like
Hey Soul?! how do you do this and that? and when you try to
all of them just skips the steps, tries something else and quits
they all after for fame, they call themselves tough
b***h please, damn you!, you ain’t gonna go out forever protecting your back? from stabbers, poles and gun shots right??
dude, words are so powerful it could kill you
so shut up, and make something different.
if your gonna be like a piece of crap doing the same got damn thing
then I guess, you’re the reason why I dont like hip-hop today and how it is now
