George Orwell's Novel 1984 Inspired poem a piece of paper

keep this piece of paper

keep this, as a memory

keep this, as an image 

keep it as you please

til such time would pass

you can throw it to the sea

let it fade, let it drown

subsiding to nothingness

though it’s a material thing

an object, a story

a proof of our existence

 

as you found out, what was written...

keep it, inside your heart
