Before stars were bornA Poem by bluesaturn
It's been so long
Since I've stared up at the night sky in awe Trying to count invisible stars with a smile on my face And hope in my heart And remembered how much I am part of this universe too Insignificant and yet the most important part of it all, the taste of starlight on my tongue, here since the beginning of time and forever after. There's so much beauty in this pain. There's hope in this life and everything that goes beyond. Somewhere in all of this there is meaning. Somewhere in all of this there is life. And I'm ready, here with a map and shovel So I might find what my soul has been yearning for since before stars were born. © 2021 bluesaturnReviews
