(36) Forever Walk

(36) Forever Walk

A Poem by Chris Smith Welshpoetcs
"

This is a new poem, written today. Even at night Hospitals never sleep.

"

Each day, it seems to be the same

The hours colliding as if one

Stretching out without any end

As if time has suddenly stopped

Alas, these poor and weary feet

They seemed to have walked miles

This seems to be an endless destination

Like walking forever in some circle

I am not alone in this forever walk

Of the same tasks, day after day

Someone has to face what comes

For Hospitals, they never stop, never sleep.

the care for the ill is an endless array of tasks~ interesting how your first two stanzas dwelve into the general condition of life human beings have chained themselves to~ and then the final stanza opens up a whole new window on a deeper level of the days and night for those who are ill and those who are ever present to provide the care they need~ well done~ and applicable to many areas of being~

I was taken into a zone of endless time walking in a vicious circle and then in the last stanza brought back to reality..such is your talent..wonderful.

This poem is very easy to relate to. I think anyone in any walk of life has felt like this before. Great poem.
