(28) Unseen BeautyA Poem by Chris Smith WelshpoetcsSometimes we never see the true beauty
She looks at her reflection
Mirror holds the image of her face Looks at the make up and makes her selection Puts it on to show her beauty and grace She is a pretty picture with cherry lips She loves to look good for all to see In her hair, pink ribbons and golden clips She looks good, so beautiful to see But she never goes outside the door She will never be going anywhere Scared that what men are looking for That they only will see her wheel chair (copyright Oct 2008 Chris Smith) © 2011 Chris Smith WelshpoetcsFeatured Review
