The StormA Poem by Chris Smith WelshpoetcsA poem
Did you watch the screaming
As the raven crashed down From the grey clouded skies Amidst the roaring of thunder Did you ever come to wonder Why we exist the way we do Driving our souls into obscurity Until the darkness takes us I am afraid to look outside Into the death and the decay That embeds itself on eyes Eyes blinded to stark reality The raven will learn to fly again After it has sheltered from the storm Maybe I will do this same thing Hide deep away until the storm passes © 2014 Chris Smith Welshpoetcs |
