Costume Ball

Costume Ball

A Poem by M. Wellon
"

Darkness is as darkness does.

"

Costume Ball

Conjure, then,

the murky

crimson vapor.

Summon the visage

of princess flesh;

dark tween groins

of Salome,

thrusting

in blood mists

rising

from The Baptist’s

sundered skull.
