Once Mine

a poem of sorrow

I thought I forgot the feeling

How you cared for me

How you showered me with love

The way you touched my soul

But what happened in my my dream?

There was you kissing my forehead

Giving me a hand

My heart was on flames

It was still vivid in my mem'ries

The smile I once had on my face

The sweetness in your voice

Like a honey melting

I thought I totally forgot

Yet, it was like yesterday

I saw the glimpse that once we had

I felt the love I once had

It was not a nightmare

If it will happen again

I want to sleep forever

Hey Mariwel, I can relate to this piece as I was also having such kind of emotions some time back. The only key is to be happy about the fact that it happened and move on with those happy memories. I enjoyed reading this, thanks for sharing :)
