S A I L

S A I L

A Poem by Suki

I USED TO BLAME MYSELF

THEN I CAME TO FIND

IT WAS ALL THE PRODUCT

OF A FRAGILE MIND

MAYBE I SHOULD CRY FOR HELP

WHO WOULD HEAR?

AFTER ALL THESE YEARS...

IGNORE THE TEARS

I DON'T EXPECT YOU TO UNDERSTAND

YOU'RE BARELY EVEN LISTENING

I SUPPOSE IT'S BEEN TRUE ALL ALONG

I'LL ALWAYS BE A DIFFERENT BREED

Different indeed and in the best way. I enjoy the outcast take in this, unfortunately it also leaves you vulnerable to the judgment of the norm. Great poem :)
