Black Lullaby

Black Lullaby

A Poem by Jesse W.
"

A poem about suicide

"
I feel it again
That big, black lust filled desire
Lulling me to death

Will you not spare me?
Or can I save my own life
Even at this stage?

I pick up the blade
Set it within my deft grip
And start to fall down

I twist and I turn
Land harshly upon my back
And I contemplate

Death still calls to me
A call of lust, never love
In time, I will fall

That black lullaby
Urging me to end it all
Next time, I just might
