Ode to the DoctorA Poem by Jesse W.Tribute to Doctor Who
You fled your home world
Stole a machine called 'TARDIS' Ran from Gallifrey Played the recorder Wore a bow tie and had fun Always lost your way Were stranded on Earth Wore regal garbs and fixed cars A man of action You wore a long scarf Offering Jelly Babies Eyes merry with mirth Abandoned your tool That trusty sonic screwdriver While you played cricket Took on darker hues Though your wardrobe could always Leave anyone blind Became short and cold A grand master chess player With an umbrella Romantic and young The man who would run from war Lost in harmony Emerged a warrior Became the Oncoming Storm Who would save us all Go on to find Rose Face down evil without fear Shouting 'Fantastic' Build a family Remember to love again And cry out 'Allon-sy!' Reclaim the bow tie Get married and face silence Blasting out 'Geronimo!' Play the magician Rock out your philosophy Contemplate your place Many still wonder At your name, but we all know Who is the Doctor
