Underneath the SunA Poem by Jesse W.
Ebony arose
As the sun crossed the mountains Slid out of their bed She showered and dressed Did her hair and her make up Today was the day Her dress was perfect She was ready for the morn Though she felt unsure The ring in her purse Was constantly on her mind Butterflies abound But she remembered The day when her life began The day Morgan came She stayed through the night And woke up at dawn's first light Bodies intertwined Ever since that dawn They stayed true to each other Shared a love unbound Now was the day that Their two hearts would become one Under the sun
