Stick Around A Little Longer

Stick Around A Little Longer

A Poem by Wednesday morning

I gotta feeling I gotta runaway from this town

Ain't gotta girl

Ain't feel like home

And i don't want to stick around anymore

You wont believe the faces

Yeah the faces I've seen

When they take a look

No they don't look

They stare right through me like its a chore

I don't want to stick around anymore

Cant tell you how you feel

Cause all I know is what is mine

Someday's I'm down,

ain't there a guy that's supposed to show me a sign

In the clouds

In the streets

In the sand beneath my feet, where the hell am I off too

I have that on repeat

Had me a ticket

A one way from home,

always had to wonder if it was

Cause I had always wished that I was gone

I don't want to stick around anymore

I heard that there were diamonds, yeah there's diamonds in the sky

Is that a myth,

I hope it ain't because it it really soothes my mind

It makes me want to stick around a little more
