Dead but Not Forgotten

Dead but Not Forgotten

A Poem by BMTH

Thin tendrils of darkness swirl at death’s feet,

His scepter of pain brings a man to weep

For forgiveness of sins he doth not grant

But hurt in abundance, with evil chant

Ensnares the senses with gluttonous greed

There is no escape, no freedom don’t plead

Mercy’s not granted at death’s horrid throne

And so I remain, burned right to the bone

In Hell’s flames I dwell, tortured am I

But death could not take me, from world up high

My friend’s memories hold, my resting place

Though friends I call them they don’t wish me grace

For it is of them that I rot in here

The conduit of sins slit from ear to ear

I drank of their blood and that of their kin

I raped their existence, ate of their skin

None shall forget, and for that I live on

Soul trapped in the pit but nightmares I spawn

Haunting my victims, until dawn’s first light

They remember my crimes with restless fright

Hell is my prison, saving earth above

From twisted psychotic death found in love
