Starry Night

Starry Night

A Poem by LoLo
"

What might this be?

"

I saw Starry Night inside of a cloud today...

Swirls and twirls

Spots and dots

Visions painted on a canvas of fluffy dew

Shapeshifters they are...

And etheral wisp of chi

Formed into mythical beasts and ancient gods

Out of the wonder of the faery queen's domain

Out of the extraordinary, the intangible

So perhaps...

You too shall find Van Gogh within a single cloud...

Beautiful poem! That is one of my favorite paintings and yes, sometimes I can see its liekness in the swirling clouds. This was great.

I am a lover of Vincent's art and a follower of his family's history. They are a very colorful group of individuals. I wrote a piece about his last painting " Wheat Field With Crows" entitled simply Crows. I may have to repost it after reading this, I think you may enjoy it. We seem to share a love of the Van Gogh mystique.

One of my favorite paintings of all time, and your poem is perfect! It flows with the power and presence of true art. Wonderfully done!

I really like your creativity and I think its great how you created a world out of something so simple. Just sometimes the words don't seem to flow so smoothly. But overall great job :)
