Mist Haven

Mist Haven

A Poem by LoLo
"

A day in April....

"

A halo of mist...

gently falls throughout the

slate gray sky

Rolls of emerald green hills

blanket the mothering earth

Scents of dewgrass and oakmoss

fill creatures lungs, ground and air

Quiet chattering of redwinged black birds speak out

from the leafless silouttes of

surrounding elm trees

Chilly fresh breezes swiftly

cleanse the spirited land we call our haven

This is so pretty. It is soft and earthy like laying in a field of grass and watching clouds float by. You have a eye for natural beauty and a good pen to express your visions. I enjoyed this.
