Mist HavenA Poem by LoLoA day in April....A halo of mist... gently falls throughout the slate gray sky Rolls of emerald green hills blanket the mothering earth Scents of dewgrass and oakmoss fill creatures lungs, ground and air Quiet chattering of redwinged black birds speak out from the leafless silouttes of surrounding elm trees Chilly fresh breezes swiftly cleanse the spirited land we call our haven
