Color Wheel

Color Wheel

A Poem by Robert Francis Callaci
"

poetic paint

"

Once upon a time

in a world black and white

Innocence was born

in Technicolor light

The reds sharp and bold

The blues subdued not cold

A tint of green and yellow

A wonder to behold

Where life’s magic

and dreams unfold

Color blast on wheels of glass

Will it break will it last?

This Technicolor light

brings with it sight

A vision feast

that sooths the beast

Where innocence’s touch

paints with wet brush

A colorful splash

of hope and trust

With a dab and a sprinkle

of a little pixie dust

Shades of gray eggshell white

gloomy day darkly night

Black makes gray with white

Shades and tones add to its light

Darkening hues and golden blues

Temptations own light delight

Pastel landscapes fill the eyes

Passion follows it wails it cries

Raging wind and thunder balls

From the fire desire calls

Bleeding reds and dripping browns

Brings on the fools and the clowns

The wheel turns the colors burn

Black attacks as white fights back

Mix it in an out

down up and about

Love with hate

desire with restraint

White with black

red with yellow

Innocence and guilt

knit a colorful quilt

Within the balance

compassion needs malice

In this world of black and white

with its Technicolor light

Reads like creationism. But also reads like only you could have possibly written it.

Won't make promises but I will try to drop in more often.

This is effulgent...absolutely incredible how you use the war between light and dark.. the balance.. The beauty of color and how the heart and emotions are reflections ~absolutely AWESOME...
