An Apocalyptic Awakening

An Apocalyptic Awakening

A Poem by Robert Francis Callaci
"

a dark destiny

"

cold sweat

heavy breathing

heart racing hands shaking

standing on the edge of the world

hot flash

the morning after

a large crowd gathered to watch

the end of all days

You could put a twist on this and make it humorous, if you wanted to. You could call it "A Menopausal Reckoning" - heehee...just teasin' You're very dark, Bob, but I like that in a poet. :)

Like the forms ....for some reason they worked together well. And, as always, the poem was smashing!

Cheers!
