Wilderness

Out of the blackness of despair

I will rise and break your yoke

your lies will cease to entangle me

in your hell I will make my heaven

Be gone you harmless little fly

you tiny speck of dust

your itch is but now a mere distraction

a flick of my hand will fling you down

to the dank slimly mud of oblivion

I will weave my own truth

I will know my own intentions

they will resonate a power

that you will never own

I take possession of myself

I evict you from my house

you’re not welcome

to ever step inside

the key to my minds door

you'll never again possess

the shadow fades

as my fire burns true

the water flows too weak

to douse its flame

the air I breathe

will lose its bitterness

as the earth will now accept me eagerly

in her nurturing womb

the five pointed star

is the bullet

that will rip into your face

its power will trigger

my light to grow bright

and its glow

will blast you away

the six pointed star

is the arrow

that pierces your heart

its mysteries

will beguile you

as the mirror shatters your reflection

the nine pointed star

is the sword

that slices you

to pieces

its dizzying dance

spins you out of control

and throws you beyond

the circle

into the black pit

of darkness

Victory

I will have

freedom at last

to soar

with unfettered wings

(from the memoirs of Lucifer Morningstar)

Because of you…

I have awoken with a spirit

that burns hot  with passion and desire,

as the  dead embers of  a ashen  heart

are rekindled with flames of searing light .

My body trembles with remembered feelings

that were lost long ago,

as my eyes see things as they now can be

rather then as they were.

Because of you…

I’m awake with tears of happiness on my cheeks

that for ages has known only tears of sorrow and despair

I emerge from self inflicted torment and rage

caused from a doubting mind and slumbering soul.

The chains of my making that held me

in the darkened wood have melted away,

and now I can once again breathe the air so fair

and sweet, when before it was only foul and dank.

Because of you…

I stand erect with spirit bright

now wonder fills my every sight

no longer felled in darkness dim

with body bent in twisted plight

never again will I  be bound

with head cowed down eyes to ground

forever is gone this weight of sin

 surrendering  need to always win

Because of you…

I Am Complete

(from Adam and Eve’s deathbed confessions)

IN THE BELLY OF THE BEAST AN ANGEL CRIES

XIX

As the day leading up to the Gathering ended and the night began, a hundred years as one counts time, had already passed for Adam and Eve in Mortality’s Gate. Time flowed and shifted amongst each Gate in a slow dreamy fashion, accept for in Death’s domain; where time flowed in a accelerated pace by Death’s hand, to accommodate ITS evolutionary alchemy IT set into motion. For Time always bows to Death’s wishes…

------

All watched with bated breath as the Two Titans locked upon each Others Eyes. Each seemed lost in Their own dreams, as They gazed upon one another and neither of Them seemed inclined to make the first move beyond that. It took Lilith, not known for subtlety, who poked Lucifer in the ribs to wake Him out of His reverie and whispered in His ear to get on with the business at hand. Lucifer glared back at Lilith and was ready to bellow his displeasure upon her but this seemed to break the ice, for Lilith’s actions made Lucifina smile and gave her the pretext She needed for Her to be the first to speak. She turned Her gaze towards Lilith and with a voice that filled the air with music said:

Oh Child of the Night you were always one to know what needed to be done, no matter the cost. You have been missed much by Me, but it gladdens My heart to know that your spirit has not faltered and been broken by the darkness, offering it and Him what comfort that you can.

And then Her gaze turned once again back to Lucifer and holding back Her tears She said unto Him:

Oh Great Lord of this Universe and My once Morningstar, I have come at Your bidding on this neutral ground to talk upon the realignment of power that concerns Us all. Let this Gathering now commence with You and I side by side at its head. Come walk with Me and let Us talk as We as proceed to the Gathering Gate.

Lucifer not known to be one of calm demeanor, managed to maintain His control while He listened to Lucifina’s Voice almost forgotten. Half of Him wanted to rip Her apart, for the part She played in His exile, while the other half, wanted to hold Her unto His bosom and weep at all the time that was lost between them.  But reason overcame the beast that raged within. Lucifer bowed to Lucifina and took Her hand and together they walked and talked as they once did before Time began….

While all eyes were fixed upon Lucifer and Lucifina, Sateen’s eyes roamed towards Joshua’s direction. His handsomeness touched off a passion and desire within Her that made Her body tremble and sway with moist anticipation. She sniffed the air for His scent and as it wafted through Her nose a pool of pleasure puddled the ground beneath Her feet. She was about to pounce and tear at His manliness and shallow on the juices of His sweat, but was stayed by Her mothers hand that held tightly on to the nape of Her sweaty hair. Lilith told Her that now was not the time for fun and games but one had to choose the proper time for ones pleasure…

-----

Adam and Eve entered into a world far different then the idyllic home they were exiled from. Earth, wind, fire and Air did not heed to their commands and the beasts of the lands knew not who they were for they were untamed and strange to look upon, and their eyes were dead to their words. They called out to God and there was only silence and for the first time in their lives, they knew what it was like to be alone. They felt emptiness in their bellies and a chill in their bones as they wandered amongst this savage land that was now their home. But they were of one mind and were resolved in their determination to learn the ways of this world, and to do what needs to be done in order to survive and prosper by learning to rely on their own wits, blood and sweat.

The first few years were hard on Adam and Eve as they learned to survive in the wilderness. They near starved to death a few times and if not for the few berries found among the bushes and the crawly things that lived beneath the earth, there would be no tale to tell of humanity’s rise. Experiencing the full wrath of winter and the blazing heat of summer without adequate shelter or clothing left their skin welted and burned in the summer and their bodies near froze to death in the winter. But through all this they somehow managed to survive and refused to give in to despair and thanked God in their prayers for letting them live another day. Out of necessity they became keen observers of nature and watched from the animals what was good to eat and the way of the hunt. Adam and Eve were loath to kill a living creature of the earth, but starvation has a way of changing ones mind. As they learned to hunt, their health took a turn for the better, for they used all parts of the kill to supply their living needs. From the skin, fur, bones and meat did they get their food to eat, tools to hunt, and clothes to protect them against the heat and cold. They learned from what plants and flowers they could eat and saw that from a little seed what life brings. They learned to catch fire by watching for storms and looking for where the lightning struck; causing brush fires amongst the bushes where they would dip their makeshift torches in and carry the fire with them. Life was still hard but each day started to become easier then the last.

Eve couldn’t keep up with Adam in the hunt for she was feeling faint and ill. She didn’t know weather to be happy or alarmed for she knew that she was pregnant with twins. They needed to find a more permanent place to settle down; that would afford them protection and a degree of comfort for them to raise their children in. Adam and Eve decided to leave these hunting grounds which they shared with strange little creatures who also walked on two legs, and headed back north towards the mountains, near at the point where they were exiled from. So they packed what belongings they had and left the hot fertile jungles to live high amongst the mountains where they felt that they would be closer to the Spirit of God…

-----

Joshua felt a little uncomfortable being in the company of all these denizens of Hell. He couldn’t help but notice that One in particular eyed Him as if to eat him. She was disturbingly beautiful in a dangerous sort of way that made Him feel dirty with desire. He couldn’t wait to go back to His desert paradise and dive on the needles of the cactus so as to punish His body for its sins…
