Siren’s Song

In the summer of my life,

I navigated my way

amongst the ocean currents

with unsteady feet and a burning

heart; hoping to find the part of

you that I had lost

In the cool autumn nights of

yesterday, when my soul was still young,

I would drift amongst the clouds and

stare upward at the stars; hoping that

your remaining light would shine down

upon my tear stained face.

As the winter chill burrs deep within my

well worn bones, I lay amongst the pebbles

and rocks of a once mighty mountain whose

story mirrors my own. My hope has waned

and all I have are but memories of a touch ,

an embrace and a smile.

I dream of wildflowers and shooting stars

and the gentle rain of a springtime day

(from Lilith’s “Book of Confessions”)

FADING STARS STILL BURN BRIGHT

Gabriel knelt before Lucifer and said:

My Lord, Lucifina’s angels await your audience. They have been reunited with their soul twins and are now willing to follow your banner and swear their allegiance.

Lucifer smiled at this little bit of good news. Five of Her Archangels and the legions that followed them had fallen to Him. Nine gates had been breeched.   All that was left were the “Three Circles of Eden”. And in time that too, will be His. Lucifer turned towards his friend and asked:

And what of your Gabriella, when will you two be joined.

Gabriel closes his eyes and went into one of his dream states. When he woke, he lifted himself up and said to his friend and Lord:

Soon, My Lord, Her will is faltering. Her need and desire for me is over shadowing her love for Lucifina. The fire of my heart has rekindled the flame in hers. When the time is right, she will fly into my arms…

----

Lilith stood still and listened. She heard the cries of trees, earth, wind and seas. She saw

them being raped by the darkness, polluted by foulness, disease and corruption. She now knew what that word meant, and who and what the dark lord was. She called out to them with a voice filled with power which all of paradise heard:

Oh hear me, my beloved spirits of the earth, It is I and my children who weep for you, and it is I and my children, who will be your  champions against this dark blight that has invaded your serenity. We will join you on the other side and fight with you arm in arm. We will make our own earthly light and follow our own self determined destiny-

The earth shook- and for a moment, Time stood still…

-----

Lucifina and her remaining angels gathered together and took comfort and counsel with one another. All stood silent and listened intently as the air became filled with Lilith’s “War Song”. They were surprised at the power that those words resonated throughout all of paradise. For the skies answered her call with claps of thunder and lightening and the Seas waves rose in salute while the earth trembled and shook…

-------

As Lucifer was ready to receive Lucifina’s angels to his camp, He Heard the “Sirens Song”, from Earths Favorite Child. He was beguiled and transfixed by that voice that sounded so similar to his own. As the earth shook beneath His feet and the rain poured down upon His face, He laughed, for His and Lucifina’s “Song Child” had awoken, and the start of a new age had begun. Things were about to become interesting…

-----

Adam was devastated by Lilith’s and the twins decision to leave paradise. The thought of never seeing his beloved Lilith and his precious children again made his heart twist with pain. She asked him to go with her but they both knew that he could never leave without God’s blessings and good wishes. Their parting was tearful as he embraced her one last time and pledged that he would love her forever. He prayed that they would one day be together again. All that he had left now was his darling daughter Eve and God and her angels and that should have been enough for any man, but yet, even with all of that, he still felt alone

-----

Gabriella knelt before Lucifina and said:

I fear I will not be returning back with you to heaven. I have been weighed down with need and desire for my twin, Gabriel. His corruption has leaked into my spirit and my feet want to run into the darkness to greet him. My light is waning, but I shall use the last of it to serve you in any which way that you command.

Lucifina was saddened by Gabriella’s words but not surprised.  She could of stopped

Gabriel’s assault on Gabriella from the beginning or at any time that she chose, but that would have interfered with Her plans concerning paradise. In war one needed to make sacrifices no matter the pain or sorrow that it would cause. She needed Gabriella to be tainted, in order for her to complete one final task that She had in store for her. It was times like this when She wished She never left heaven….

I fear I will not be returning back with you to heaven. I have been weighed down with need and desire for my twin, Gabriel. His corruption has leaked into my spirit and my feet want to run into the darkness to greet him. My light is waning, but I shall use the last of it to serve you in any which way that you command.

I found this here very interesting!

especially this part
His corruption has leaked into my spirit and my feet want to run into the darkness to greet him.

I don't know why us humans do this. We see a sign for desire off we go.
I guess we have to pursue that sin to see if we can do it.
There's devil in all of us.

We run to the light to see if it's tainted or not.
We have to journey to the end of the rainbow to see if there's really gold
We must try to outlive the sun but we never do.

Great insights here and truth. Love this.
