A dying ember

A dying ember

A Chapter by Robert Francis Callaci
"

flames wither and die

"

a dying ember

Those flames burn hot

but not when frozen

leaves turn brown

and rot on winter’s frost

with subterfuge and lies

love dies

on crippled

vines
