Suicide Dreams (2)

as I fall into the vacuum of space

in the pitch-black night of nothingness

with no gravity to hold me

no air to fill my lungs

just seconds away from non-existence

I can only think of you

the serenity of your calming smile

your breath mingled with mine

the taste of those ruby lips

and those salty crystalline tears

that could make even the devil weep

as my heart bursts and rips asunder

I see a tunnel filled with shadow and light

and rejoice knowing

that death is only a beginning

and when I wake from the sleep of the dead

and reopen my eyes

I will once again

smell you

touch you

feel you

kiss you

and forever hold you in my arms
