Diminishing Returns

Diminishing Returns

A Chapter by Robert Francis Callaci
"

man's legacy

"

Diminishing Returns

filled with plasmic-soaked tears our eyes focus upon:

dark skies

oil-slicked oceans

sapien infested terrain

vanishing forests

expanding deserts

we can hardly hear the once abundant sounds of:

a lions roar

trumpeting elephants

bird melodies

whale songs

bullfrog serenades

we can barely taste, touch, or smell the freshness of earth’s

mantle and oceans that were once fragrant, succulent, and moist

but now slowly withers in putrefied decay

our Eyes Behold what Man has Wrought:

A Sick and Dying World…
