Sacred Writings of the Rooter Mages

The stench of death ---

perfumes the ancient catacombs

that lay vacant of life that

was an alter to the knowing

and devoted. Those few that knew…

that only the living can pay

the exorbitant price needed to

be paid  to feed the dead

from truly dying. For immortality

is the boon and bane of the living

as well as the dead.

(attributed to Flautidamon Flont "pontiff of the second chapter rooter house)

Only the dead know where the living

hide. They walk beside the living and

instill fear and loathing in their hearts…

why do such a thing-~-

the dead are afraid to move on so

they haunt the living in order to delay

their fate that remains unknown …

(attributed to Delorfor Beatlemount "musemage of the ninth chapter rooter house)

When does a rock become a pebble?

It takes millennia upon millennia for such

a thing to happen. Does the pebble remember

when it was a rock? If it remembers then

why does it not warn us of the doom that lies ahead.

When does a pebble become a speck of sand?

(attributed to Festus Fuellar-musemage of the fifth chapter  rooter house)

Power needs to be taken with force if need be.

It’s neither for the weak nor the brave,

but for those ambitious souls who are willing

to manipulate it to achieve the impossible...

(attributed to Petifor Magnus-musemage of the sixth chapter rooter house)

When life is at the wane and time becomes

our enemy rather than friend--- by accelerating

instead of slowing down---  rather than fretting

about and fearing the inevitable , let us  just

enjoy the ride to oblivion.

(attributed to Galbrith Gagglemount-musemage to the seventh chapter rooter house)

Who among us has followed the straight and

narrow path? I hear that road is littered with

jagged rocks, and is slippery when wet. One

needs to be careful where they step ---  for the  valley

below is littered with bones.

I myself prefer the crooked road.  It’s wide, easy

on the feet, and offers many amusements. The

trick is to repent and denounce all your sins

once you reach its destination...

(attributed to Titus Mitulor-magemaster of seventh chapter rooter house)

what you do not know

you will not miss

only from ignorance

can we peel away this

quagmire of doubt and

confusion

empty your mind

and sweep away

the clutter.

don’t become the worm

who s***s and talks at

both ends

become the donkey

and he-haw your

way to bliss and

salvation...

(attributed to Titus Mitulor-magemaster of seventh chapter rooter house)

Our individual essence and pure spirit floats and drifts

on the cosmic surf. Each of us is a tiny droplet in that

vast ocean wave. Many of the droplets remain separated

from the others as they hit the sand and evaporate in the

sun. While those who opened their spirits to one another:

retreated back into the ocean to become the nucleus

of another wave.

Meditation is a powerful tool that cultivates the spirit.

Connection to another human soul has no age barriers

for all spirit is immortal.

(attributed to Claudius Babodasia, High Monk of the fifth chapter rooter house)

On rivers of blood duplicitous cowards row to perdition

Courage is when you’re not afraid to be afraid to show fear.

The scorpion’s sting stings but the snake’s bite kills

Disagreements involving honor can be mended but treachery’s wounds fester and linger forever

Cows fart sustainable gas; people’s farts are full of s**t

(attributed to Titus Mitulor-magemaster of seventh chapter rooter house)
